This necklace is very close to Abi’s heart and she wears the original everyday. It is a baby walnut cast from the original charm that belonged to Abi’s granny, Josephine.
When you look up the meaning of walnuts: it is said that they represent intelligence, wisdom, knowledge, and inspiration. We love that nuts and seeds in general hold such hidden potential inside their shells, waiting to grow into something spectacular.... all big trees start off as a small seed/nut.
Each charm is gold plated and comes on a gold plated 60cm paperclip chain that can be adjusted to be worn any length.
We are donating R100 from each sale to Sidewalk Specials; a dog rescue based in the township of De Doorns, Cape Town, as a nod to Abi's granny who loved dogs.
