Masaai Necklace Ebony

Handmade recycled solid brass charm, made by our artisans in Kenya.  This charm is beaded with lava bead dangles and made into a necklace, using ivory coloured wooden beads, by our team in Cape Town

The Maasai tribe are renowned for their traditional beaded adornment that they have long used to decorate their bodies.   When designing the main charm in this necklace we were inspired by the shapes used in Masaai pieces. We added in swaying beads to shake and move when you dance!

Features & Sizing

100% recycled brass charm. Beaded with lava beads dangles on the charm and then strung with wooden beads onto thick cotton thread.

Dimensions:
Necklace: 800mm circumference.
Charm: 75mm length with dangles x 55mm width at widest point.

  • The charms are handmade by our artisans in Kenya using traditional brass-smithing techniques. The necklaces are then beaded by our Cape Town studio team.
