Handmade recycled solid brass charm, made by our artisans in Kenya. This is on a sterling silver necklace chain, dipped in 9 carat gold.

Sand dollars, or pansy shells are actually the skeleton of a sea urchin. They got their name as centuries ago people believed they were a form of currency used by mermaids! We just love the five petaled pattern and think this handmade brass design is a treasure.
