At SOUL design, we don’t just make jewellery. We make pieces that have passports. Every ring, necklace and bangle has its own little adventure. Made with materials sourced across Africa, shaped by hands that know exactly what they’re doing, and inspired by places that make your heart beat a bit louder.

When you wear SOUL, you’re not just wearing jewellery — you’re carrying stories.
It might start in Cape Town, where Abi (founder of SOUL Design), sketches ideas at her kitchen table with a cup of rooibos and a sunbeam. But it never ends there. It winds through a workshop in Nairobi, across a market in Marrakech, through the hands of the artisans who turn raw metal and stones into something you’ll treasure.
Every piece we make has a journey. And that journey connects people; from artisan to Abi, Abi to you, and back again. It's not just a necklace. It's a thread between homes, cultures and creative souls.

We’re proud that everything we create is made with African materials, crafted by African hands, and inspired by the spirit of place. But we’re not here to reduce a whole continent to one look. Africa is many things — bold, soft, loud, quiet, modern, ancient — and so is the creativity that comes from it.
This isn’t about charity. It’s about collaboration. The artisans we work with are entrepreneurs, creatives, and visionaries. We don’t speak for them — we build with them. Because they’re not just part of the story, they are the story.
